Pizza Hut unveils new delivery tech
Keen to keep abreast of the on-demand concept that’s revolutionising the industry, Pizza Hut has recently confirmed that it plans to not only hire 3,000 pizza delivery drivers a month for the rest of 2017, but it’s also integrating a new delivery network algorithm to enhance its QSR services.
Pizza Hut’s U.S. President, Arthur Starrs, has spoken positively of the company’s plans to hire and implement new technology, describing how it will improve the efficiency of its service: “We have a belief that ‘No One Out Pizzas the Hut,’ and for us that’s so much more than a tagline. It’s a promise that we are making to our customers. We have been in the service business for almost 60 years, and our commitment to providing the best, most reliable delivery service and overall experience is as strong now as it has been. It has to be, because the customer expects that from us.”
Given consumers’ increasingly demanding expectations in an industry that’s becoming more and more technologically advanced, it’s highly likely that, in this case, Pizza Hut are onto a winner.
