Pret A Manger enters Spring with a fresh take on their menu!

With the rise in flexitarian, vegan and vegetarian eaters, it was time for the much loved Pret A Manger to step up their menu game and that’s exactly what they’ve done! Embracing their biggest shake up in 33 years, 20 new items will be topping up the menu.

Taking on board the latest customer insights, they have come up with a fantastic range of variations to suit different needs and habits. Having found that two thirds of the salad pots are being consumed out of lunch hours, Pret has been inspired to create more menu additions that can be eaten at any time of the day.

Some of the tasty creations that have come from this are the extended range of snack pots, including smoked salmon, vegan mushroom, and chicken, all accompanied with a colourful and healthy range of sides. Gluten free bread, salad pots and sweet treats will also be making an appearance on the shelves.

Pret’s Head of Food Development, Hannah Dolan, said: “We’re so excited to launch our colourful new spring menu, our biggest change in our history, which is a result of listening to what our customers want”.

We think this is a great example of how places need to react and adapt to the changing needs and trends of their customers. Staying ahead of the competition and remaining so relevant and prominent in a competitive market is key.

The company is definitely entering spring with a fresh take on things and we are looking forward to testing it out!
